For either landscape construction or maintenance contracts there are essentially two main ways of selecting a contractor: through competition or by negotiation and this will generally apply to any landscape project. With our extensive industry knowledge and experience we can provide accurate and trustworthy service that can assist design teams by reviewing tenders in terms of cost, value and performance.
We review and check contractors returned tenders and also correspond or meet contractors to negotiate and to clarify any particular matters and prepare a tender report for the Client with recommendations in order to ensure best value for the client.

Prequalification & Contract Negotiating
In addition to pricing and calculating their rates for a landscape project a landscape contractors may also have to undergo a process whereby their submit information, such as previous experience, insurance thresholds etc. This information is reviewed to see if the contractor meets certain criteria set by the client. This is a time consuming process for contractors. With our extensive industry knowledge and experience we can assist contractors to gather and compile the relevant information. We compile, review and check contractor’s applications and provide clarity to clients on issues they raise during the prequalification process.
We can advise or assist contractors negotiating terms of contract with clients and aim to ensure that the contract is fair to both parties. Often we advise on the implication of the payment terms set by the contract as well as performance bonds and deadlines. It is important that contractors have a full understanding of the terms of the contract prior to starting the project on site.
